Your typical skater/surfer shoe shop. I come in
here when i need to replace my flip flops. They offer a large
variety and stuff actually goes on sale! I just bought another
pair of lacoste shoes reefs for 6.99! They also carry rainbow.
I love stopping by Aldo to pick up work approved shoes. I'm a
fan of the classic black pointy heels and Aldo definately
doesn't disappoint. They constantly take their own twist in
the design so that the shape doens't change, but they add
little twists or eyelets so that the shoes have a personality
of their own lacrosse shoes. Great to wear on a night out with
long jeans so that just enough of the heels show off some
great detail! San Diego is definitely lacking the boutique
scene so i was really happy to find this place. Although some
of their items were totally out of my price range, I always
found something cute and original. Actually, while I lived in
San Diego I would say the bulk of my purchases came from here!
The salespeople were really nice, and it's a cute little
space lakai shoes. The baby/children addition is really cute
for splurging on designer clothing. The first thing you'll see
are the hideous, but smart and comfortable Birkenstock
sandals. If you manage to make your way to the mid section of
the store, however, you'll find the cute Indigo shoes, perfect
for baby doll/ballet slipper loving girls like me. Everything
is expensive, but worth it. LB Evans Shoes Gallery sells the

A little room in the heart of Little Italy,
Niche is one awesome boutique! Some items are very pricey, but
this place always has cute clothes and jewelry, some of which
you probably won't find elsewhere like laredo boots & shoes.
Check it out, if not to make purchases (that'll make lasting
dents in your wallet), then just to window shop during an
afternoon downtown. I used to work here, so I guess my review
may be a bit biased. The clothing here is club-type gear that
borders on costume-type gear. Did you know Playboy has a
clothing line? Well, it does and you can see it at Melrose.
Sometimes they have DJs La Sportiva Shoes come in and spin.
It's a small store, so that can be a bit annoying. Most of the
times I have been in Niche, the owner was on duty and offered
a bit of info on my selections (popularity.. sizing.. future
items ordered, etc)..along with one other very sweet (and
eager) salesgirl... A few of my all time favorite tees/tops
were acquired from Niche... including a unique Nico print from
The Warhol Factory line (which sell out pretty fast laundry
shoes, what we women will
do...all in the name of fashion. |
