I walked by here again tonight (I walk by alot) and noticed that the metallic flip flops I have been in love with for FOREVER are gone not lumiani shoes. I was really happy when this store moved into my neighborhood, but I hardly see anyone going in or out of there. I hope this review inspires you to visit.. the day i stopped by, the woman who owns it was fantastically outfitted in screaming orange and yellow vintage -- and it looked *great.* to pull that off takes daring and a bold eye for color and style. plus she was super-helpful for luichiny shoes. I wish i'd bought those boots! Just shoes so good if your in a hurry and focused.  Mostly trendy, moderate prices.  Around the corner you will find a row of many fun shops so make it a day trip. I love this place.  The selection feels cool and the workers are helpful.  The only complaint I have is their size selection of Lowa Boots, which is pretty limited.. but at least they show it on the bottom of the shoe, so you know ahead of time if they have what your looking for or not. Now I'm going to go against the popular consensus, but I really find this place boring and un-special.  The represented brands there are those that I find totally hyped up beyond comprehension.  Steve Madden, Puma and Converse are so not doing it for me.  I would say that men have more chances to find some cool lotto shoes than the ladies, but then again, the ladies so far seem to disagree with that statement.

I prefer the experience at those two shops more than at this one, though the service is ok here as well - they are very low pressure at all the locations. FYI, for any GenArt members, we get 10% discount at the Gimme Shoes stores, which may provide a little help if you feel guilty and are trying to justify your purchase for martinez valero. This shop carries a good selection of some hard to find brands (like Chie Mihara and Blay), but I think both the Hayes and Fillmore locations have a slightly better selection.  I came in here looking for a pair of shoes I had seen at the matiko shoes and they didn't have them, whereas I didn't notice many shoes here that weren't at the Hayes store. The selection of unique designer shoes is great at Gimme. I recommend that guys check out the shoes here. You can find lots of really cool kicks here. The Adidas/Puma/Lacoste shoes they carry are hard to find elsewhere and their own stores rarely carry them like Matisse shoes. The only thing holding me back from giving Gimme 4 stores is that they don't gimme enough love when I come in.
