This store has been catering to the needs of
D.C. runners for who knows how many years. A mom n pop
operation, this place is located in the heart of Adams Morgan.
They have, without a doubt, the most extensive assortment of
running shoes, mark nason shoes, clothing, and related
paraphernalia in D.C. When you go in for shoes, you can talk
to the staff about what you want, and they'll recommend
several different types of sneakers to fit your needs. They
don't just try to sell you the most expensive kind. To that
extent, they'll even let you try on a pair of shoes and run
around the block in them to make sure they fit well. It's

I do love this store because it reminds me that
affordable shoes can look gooooood. And the selection changes
so often, you're bound to find something. Watch out for their
european shop hours (closed mondays and mainly open in the
afternoon). However, I'm not sure you can shop on-line since
last time I visited the page, it only posted hours and
locations (there's also one in Buffalo, NY). This madrock
shoes is not to be confused with Shoefly of Seattle, which you
can shop on-line. Great selection of shoes, but the best deals
(of course) are the racks of shoes in the back. I think this
place has a great selection of shoes at good prices. Think
warehouse of shoes where you can sink tons of money! There's a
range here - I've spent $15-70 on shoes, so it really depends
on how much willpower and control you have at these types of
places. Madeline Shoes on a scale of 1-10 is a 2 and that's
ONLY because I can't afford more. I love this shoe store. I
do. But like all the shoe stores. |
