Flashbacks specializes in vintage clothing. They do buy
regular old clothing, but they look for a particular style.
Most of it is pretty costume-esque and over-the-top
outrageous, but if you take your time to sift through the
color-coded racks, you may find something penny loves kenny
shoes wearable. OH, and the shoe selection is phenomenal! even
though the staff is kind of pretentious and snobby, its not
impossible to find a good piece or two in here. their old
dresses are what impressed me the most, and I usually like to
come here once in awhile just for peter Kaiser shoes kicks.
Kate Ross is rad. A relatively new boutique in the heart of
North Park, Kate Ross boasts men and women's clothing (Ben
Sherman, Ella Moss, Penguin, Joe's, Earnest Sewn and many
more) in a pedestrian friendly area. Location is a plus, Off
the Record is basically across the street, and if you're a fan
of Ray At Night, stop by Kate Ross first... you won't be
disappointed with petit shoes (and you'll probably want to buy
the entire store). Great shop whose nice outside pleasantly
matches the inside. This place has been around for over a
year now and never fails to present an interesting inventory,
it is the few jewelry pieces and the art on the walls that
have me captivated. Kate Ross definitely poised itself as a
pioneer PF Flyers shoes in the North Park's transformation
from the hood into a hip nucleus of innovative business
owners.
Kate Ross is a fashonista; a true genius of
style. She fills her little boutique with only the hippest
shit. She's a forward-thinking gal too--set up in a part of
North Park that will, one day in the not-too-distant future
phat farm shoes, be the heart and soul of San Diego. Niche
boutique caters to both women and kids. The outfits for both
clientele targets are high-end, attractive and expensive. The
kids' apparel section is the most notable, mostly due to its
luxurious angle and originality. La Jolla Eurochild is
trendy, whereas Niche is esoterically paired with a haute
couture flair. You may manage to find relatively inexpensive

with incorporated imitation rose petals I saw, perfect for a

are used, some items run the same price as department store
clothing. Unlike the Goodwill or Salvation Army, shoppers at
Flashbacks do not need to comb through piles of some dead
grandmothers clothes to find a chic outfit at a low price. But
cute clothes that come at a reasonable price are hard to come
by, and there are plenty of great deals to be had at p miller
