This is in University Heights? Wow!! This is a
great "neighborhood" boutique. Something you would find on a
side street in Manhattan. I love the mix of american eagle
shoes jewelry and little found items along with "unique"
clothing for men and women. Outdoor shopping mall in La Jolla.
I was at this mall all the time when I was going to school.
All your standard stores and not too big so you won't get
lost walking around. I usually never have a problem finding
parking either. There is also an ice skating black shoes rink
located in here. Most of the times I have been in Niche, the
owner was on duty and offered a bit of info on my selections
(popularity.. sizing.. future items ordered, etc)..along with
one other very sweet (and eager) salesgirl... A few of my all
time favorite tees/tops were acquired from Niche... including
a unique Nico print from The Warhol Factory camper shoes line
(which sell out pretty fast... i had to reserve this
$40/something shirt ahead of time)..oh, what we women will
do...all in the name of fashion. I think I've grown
indifferent to malls, and I blame places like this. UTC is a
very standard outdoor shopping mall with all the typical
suspects for stores: Nordstrom, Macy's, Express, GAP, American
Eagle, Hollister, A&F, Pac Sun, Journeys, Footlocker, and a
bunch of skater clothing cheap vans stores. Two things set
this mall apart from the rest though. A little room in the
heart of Little Italy, Niche is one awesome boutique! Some
items are very pricey, but this place always has cute clothes
and jewelry, some of which you probably won't find elsewhere.
Check it out, if not to make dekline shoes purchases then just to window shop
during an afternoon downtown.
San Diego is definitely lacking the boutique
scene so i was really happy to find this place. Although some
of their items were totally out of my price range, I always
found something cute and original. Actually, while I lived in
San Diego I would say the bulk of my purchases came from here!
The salespeople were really nice, and it's a cute little
space Dolce Vita shoes. The baby/children addition is really
cute for splurging on designer clothing. This is probably one
of the high end malls located in San Diego that I shop at
without having to bear the 1 hour ride up to South Coast in
Orange County. They have all your typical mall stores along
with some high end stores such as Louis and Burberry. Growing
up in the Bay Area, all of the malls up there except for
Stanford Shopping Center Duck Head Shoes and the newly redone
Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek were indoors and I absolutely
love the layout of Fashion. |
