Adorable shoe boutique, you'll certainly be
walking out with something new on your feet. Very unique
kicks, both comfy and fashion friendly. You get a bit of a
shoes european vibe, as these shoes are made for walking, but
are so cool. I'd never wear anything like this in public, but
it's a known fact that old people have soft shoes - therefore,
if you're lookin' to get the perfect shoes here's the place.
Not exactly my cup of tea, shoes whatever. But they did look
comfortable enough for my grandma to go walking around the
mall. Even though they are the cutting edge of fashion, if
you need something comfy shoes, this would be a good place to
check. I'm heding here giving the downtown store 4 stars. Of
late, I have struggled with inconsistent customer service. I
can't help but think this is in part due to rapid US growth in
the past several years. In any event, I can say that the
store beats a multitude of other N's I've shopped in. Their
selection can't be beat. While I try shirts not to ONLY shop,
time and time again I find myself in there landing just the
right items.
Synapse provides a warm, friendly venue for
some of the best emerging apparel designers working locally,
regionally and internationally. This is one of my very
favorite businesses in Seattle. Despite the emphasis on more
avant-garde designs, there is something inside for everyone,
from thoughtful and classic jackets to elegant dresses,
deconstructed-reclaimed denim and daring convertible pieces.
There's also a selection of delicious local handmade shoes,
small accessories and jewelry. Now, for my part, I love fresh,
creative and risky designs. But they have to be executed with
the perfectionism of traditional dressmaking and tailoring.
While some sandals labels' pieces are gorgeously finished,
others' look a bit careless. This is, however, more of a
reflection on the work of particular designers and their
production teams than on the store. This is my new pick-up
place for my Willie Green's Organic Farm CSA box now that the
Capitol Hill Farmer's Market is hibernating. I am only an
occasional, but they seem to have anything you might ever
need. Running gear in my neighborhood? You mean I DON'T have
to go to the mall? I'm totally sold. |
