The Rockport Boots are just about the most
comfortable things I've ever put on my feet. I have a hard
time finding shoes that aren't either a little too big or a
litle too tight, my shoe size seeming to be somewhere between
an 11 1/2 and a 12 so it is unusual for me to find a pair that
is just right. But these size 12s fit perfectly and make my
feet feel good. They also seem incredibly sturdy; I've only
owned them for about three weeks, but so far I haven't seen
the lightest sign of wear on them. I do a lot of walking, and
these are great shoes. These shoes provide incredible support.
The outsole is hard . These shoes lace up--there is also a
model featuring velcro straps but the laces are almost
redundant; once my feet go in the shoes they are feel tightly
encased with just the right amount of give. They aren't the
most beautiful pair of shoes I've ever owned, but they don't
look bad. Actually, one of the reasons I bought them is they
are fairly plain-looking. I just wanted a simple pair of shoes
that don't resemble some exercise in graphic design by a
frustrated architecture student. These feature leather uppers
with the Rockport Shoes and some moulding, but no ridiculous.
I do a lot of walking and these shoes make sure my big, flat
feet don't feel too bad at the end of a long days. This is the
first pair of Rockport Shoes I've ever owned and they won't be
the last. Their shoes always seemed too expensive for me, but
I got a really good deal. providing exceptional stability,
discovered my right toes touched the inside of the shoe
slightly. I called and they told me this meant the shoes were
half a size too small, jamming my feet into the toes of the
shoes, they felt unbelievably good.
This shoe has a lot to recommend it, the rigid
structure of the shoe, two support posts does a magnificent
job of supporting the foot, greatly improving efficiency, and
keeps the foot from sloshing around in the shoe with resultant
blisters and fatiguing lack of control directional stability.
There is a perfectly-placed gripping for the toes on the
insole that works as well for my size, for these shoes, I
learned to round my largest foot a quarter size--up to the
next half size and add half a size for medium-weight socks.
The toe is somewhat bulbous in comparison to width at the
arch, which allows roominess for the toes with no scrifice in
rigid control of the arch and zero heel slippage. Looking at
the shoes from above, they look nice. but I can tell you that
for the first time in my 51 years, I'm walking normally that
is, starting at my heels, rolling along the outside edges of
my feet, and pushing off with all my toes at the same time.
I've broken off several conversations just to get walking
again, it feels that good and natural. Store dealt with my two

online shopping. Rockports were the best I would be able to do
soft firm feel, well defined cushiony arch support, an
