The first time you buy a pair of shoes it is
very important to have your foot measured by a professional in
order to get a perfect fit. You can't just ask for your
standard size and assume that it will work for a shoe. Chances
are you'll need to go up a half size in order to assure
maximum comfort and avoid injury to feet and toes. I'll admit
it. I can be kind of vain although I would never sacrifice
quality for fashion. The Rockport Shoes is very cute. There
really isn't anything that I don't like about these shoes.
They're cute, the price was right, and they were comfortable
the first time out. I hate wearing shoes in general. I have
wide feet. I am pigeon-toed. let me tell you how much I love
these shoes. The arch support is great because usually my feet
and ankles hurt, especially an uphill one. There is enough
cushion on the bottom and surrounding the shoe that I don't
feel as much impact in my knees and ankles when my feet are
hitting the ground. These aren't the lightest shoes I've ever
been in, but it's close enough. I feet don't feel like I'm
lugging around extra weight, my feet don't feel heavy or
awkward, and my toes don't feel restricted either. The front
end isn't wide, but it's comfortable enough to fit my wide
feet. Rockport does make Shoes for the wide footed, but they
may have to be special ordered. These shoes can also be paired
up with jeans or khakis for a dress down look because they are
different shades. Although you may see these shoes used in
every situation possible keep in mind it was designed to
compete with others.They have always been sturdy, comfortable,
and definately worth the price I paid for them. Three years
later, they're still intact and one of the best purchases I
ever made.
When compared to other shoes this shoe doesn't
it falls very short. Over the years these shoes has become
more and more popular. Quality shoes are designed with a some
sort of mid-foot support within the mid-sole to give the shoe
needed stability. Rockport Shoes decided to skip this feature
making the extremely flexible through the arch where the foot
actually needs rigidity and stability. As far as fit it works
well for the narrow foot. Also true narrow widths are
available for both men and women but your local Mall store may
not have them. Wide widths are also available but I think for
the truly wide foot you will find the a better fit. I think it
purpose is better suited for casual activity. In other words
grab them when wearing a pair of jeans on the way to get
burgers with friends. I've had my pair of Rockport Shoes for
over a month, I will keep buying these shoes for as long as
they make them, I had beenvery reluctant to go shoe shopping,
to the point of wearing the same pair of well-worn Rockport
Shoes for four years, day in, day out. However, after
realizing how grimy the shoes had become, I knew I could not
delay the inevitable for much longer. The first thing that
attracted me to these shoes was the classic style. Instead of
